Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013 has started from August 23 and will continue to August 27, 2013. Manish Malhotra Designs at LAKMÉ FASHION WEEK
This year Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013 has started with magical entry of Manish Malhotra. Manish Malhotra has been titled as a King of fashion of Indian industry. He is very talented, artistic and creative dress designer has put Indian fashion at the top shelf of World’s fashion cupboard. With the start of this Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2013, pairs of models have appeared like fairies, wearing the spectacular dresses designed by Manish Malhotra. Manish has designed silk dresses nourished with thread embroidery and Zari work. Manish showcased the stylish ghagra-pant – a fusion of the Sharara and classic pant, which will give some strong alternatives to lehengas. Another interesting innovation was the Koti (bolero) top reinvented from the Rajasthan Koti, which can be teamed with saris or ghagras.
